Prerelease Begins September 2nd

Check out the new set a week early at one of our prerelease events. For $30, players will receive a special prerelease pack which includes booster packs, a date-stamped premium promo card and a life counter. To celebrate 30 years of Magic, prerelease attendees will also receive a Magic: the Gathering 30th anniversary promo while supplies last. We’ll be distributing a different card each day with preregistration getting priority.

Players will compete in a Swiss Tournament to win additional booster packs. One pack per round win will be awarded.

Players will participate in a casual three round tournament using the new cards. All participants will receive three additional booster packs upon conclusion of the event, just for playing! Join the Adventure with The Griffin’s Quest

We’re pleased to announce our new in house D&D Campaign at The Griffin’s Rest. Players will take part in adventures in a shared world where there decisions will shape the world around them. Sessions will be $10 per player, while your first session is free.

Welcome to Bellaria

Your first four adventures will be an introduction to the World of Bellaria . From then on, you and your allies will explore and uncover the mysteries of Bellaria. Decisions will have a tangible impact on the world around you and may shape the direction of not only your campaign but those of future adventurers as well.

Getting Started

New characters can use the following array for the attributes (16, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8) or use the standard point buy system with 30 points instead of 27. Not sure where or how to start? Don’t worry! We’ll have Dungeon Masters on hand to help you build your first character as well as per-generated characters available.

Join us for our next Flesh and Blood Trading Card game ProQuest event hosted on May 22nd. Players will go head to head in a classic constructed tournament. First place will receive an invite a Pro Tour invite.

We’ll have plenty of cool promos and prizes for top performers in the tournament.

Introducing The Griffin’s Rest Store Championship Series for Pokémon TCG

We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be hosting an unsanctioned Pokémon TCG series of tournaments. Players can participate in monthly $5 tournaments to earn points toward their series score. In the months of April and August we will be hosting a larger event worth additional points with a $500 prize pool. Rankings will be displayed on the leaderboard through the duration of the series. At the end of the series in August, the top 8 players will be invited to play in a single elimination tournament to be declared store champion.

Prizing

Individual tournaments will feature their own prize pool.
Winner of the store championship will receive a sponsorship which includes:

  • $100 Store Credit
  • The Griffin’s Rest logo Playmat
  • The Griffin’s Rest logo T-shirt
  • We’ll cover your registration for the Regional Championship of your choice

Prerelease Begins February 11th

We’re happy to celebrate the return to in store play with four prerelease events. For $30 (after tax), players will receive a special prerelease pack which includes booster packs, a date-stamped premium promo card and a life counter.

Players will compete in a Swiss Tournament to win additional booster packs. One pack per round win will be awarded. Any player going 3-0 for the tournament will receive a special prize TBA. Attendance is capped at 36 players per event so we have the option of early registration to guarantee your spot.
