Pokémon Go Community Day

Join us for our next Pokémon Go Community Day meetup! In addition to meeting fellow fans of Pokémon, we’ll be holding a competition to see who can catch the most Mareep during the time frame of the event. Winner will receive either a $10 iTunes or Google Play gift card.

SCHEDULE
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm:
Registration – Stop in The Griffin’s Rest, check in with our staff. We’ll need to see your trainer name and Pokedex entry for Mareep so we know how many you’ve caught so far.

We’ll also be providing the exclusive April badge for all Silph Road Trainer cards. Don’t have a Silph Road trainer card? Sign up for one today! https://thesilphroad.com/card

After you check in, connect with other trainers, collect handshakes on your trainer cards, or even play a board game with your other trainers while we wait for the Community Event to start.

2:00 pm – 5:00 pm:
Let the catching begin! We’ll have our Pokestop lured, but we’re also a few blocks away from downtown Muskegon, so you’re welcome to explore and catch as many Mareep as you can.

5:00 pm – 5:30 pm:
Stop back at The Griffin’s Rest and show us your trainer name and Pokedex entry for Bulbasaur (to be compared with starting total) so we can verify who caught the most Mareep during the event. Winner will be announced no later than 5:30 pm, so make sure you report your totals before then.

Why another discord? Well, it’s how we connect with The Silph Road and gain access to the resources needed to coordinate the event. We understand there are many other communication tools in use and don’t want to detract from that. We just simply intend to maintain a positive community environment for those that connect at our meetups.
