The Griffin’s Rest at MuskeCon

Stop by MuskeCon’s inaugural event and meet the minds behind The Griffin’s Rest. We’ll be onsite to talk about plans for the store and getting to know those in the community and what we can do to provide a positive gaming experience.

How do I attend?

MuskeCon is being held at the Holiday Inn Muskegon-Harbor, 939 3rd Street, Muskegon, MI 49441. This is less than 1/2 a mile from the future location of The Griffin’s Rest! Stop by between 10:00 am -6:00 pm on Saturday, March 18th. Tickets are $5 and kids 12 & under can attend free. For more information on MuskeCon, check out their Facebook page.

Support your gaming community!

Being part of the gaming community means supporting your fellow gamers in their endeavors. When we heard about MuskeCon, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to do just that. We decided to grab up some booth space so we could meet other folks in the area, talk about what they want to see at their local gaming store and show them some of the cool things we are already doing.

Now one of those things is Waypoint LARP. This is a game we started a few years ago, that has really blossomed into something great. We’ll have some of our fellow LARPers there in costume to tell you a little bit about the hobby. In addition, we’ll be selling a variety of LARPing weapons and gear there.

Some people will mention that it’s a small convention and that’s 100% true. You’re not going to see any big guests here. However, you will get the chance to see what’s going on locally in YOUR area. You to support local crafters, artists, and stores. These are the people who are banding together to give nerds access to cooler stuff.

So let’s work together to make this the best convention it can be!
