Join us for the first Pokémon Go PVP Cup tournament of The Silph League Arena Season 2: The Ferocious Cup. No cost to enter. Save time the day of the event by RSVPing today! https://silph.gg/t/h29c (Yes, this is outside our normal business hours. Don’t worry, we’ll be open!)

The Ferocious Cup is a themed Trainer Battle tournament with special rules designed to add challenge and fun.

Participants will register a team of 6 Pokémon following Great League Rules (1500 CP or less).

Rather than being restricted to specific Pokemon Types, the Ferocious Cup is limited to a selection of land-based “beast” Pokemon inspired by the fearsome beasts that rule the land. The species whitelist features a selection of 130 land mammals and reptiles that have been analyzed and selected for their ability to create a new challenging meta. Review the list below to see what is permitted. https://silph.gg/cup/ferocious

Only one of each Pokemon species is permitted on your team of 6. (No species duplicates!)

The competition will be setup as a Swiss Style Tournament. Winner of each round will be determined by Best of Three matches. All participants will receive a 1″ Ferocious Badge button and entry into a drawing for a Espeon Plush. Top 4 players will also receive an enamel Ferocious Badge pin. Winner will receive a framed 1st place certificate.

While not required to participate, but players with a Silph Travelers Card will have their wins tracked on local and worldwide leaderboards for the season and be eligible to qualify for Regionals and the Season Prizes. Sign up for your Travelers Card here: https://thesilphroad.com/card (or register for the tournament with your email and sign up for a Travelers Card later).
